A United States Representative and Senator respond to comments from the Mayor of New York City saying Kansas has no brand. Representative Jake LaTurner says Kansas's brand is about the people.

Senator Jerry Moran recognized the City of Humboldt on the Senate Floor with the Building Better Communities Award. He says what that community has done is an example of Kansas's brand.

Moran says earlier this year the New York Times Travel Desk selected Humbolt as a top destination in the world alongside places like Greece, Australia, and Argentina, which he says seems pretty ironic now.
