Independence Police Officers respond to a complaint by a woman being followed and arrest a man on drug charges.

Thursday at about 1:00pm, officers were called to Riverside Park in reference to a white male following a woman and her children. After speaking with the woman, officers located 46-year-old Jason Barrager.  After a search, officers arrested Barrager for possession of an opiate, a hallucinogenic drug and drug paraphernalia. Barrager was taken into custody and to the Montgomery County Department of Corrections where he awaits his first court appearance.
