Third Annual Native American Unity Gathering Coming Up

The third annual Native American Unity Gathering is coming up this weekend at the Native American Fellowship grounds at 215 Oklahoma Street in South Coffeyville.

There will be native craft vendors, dancing, drumming, a kid's activity tent, blow darts, hatchet throwing and free food while supplies last.

Coffeyville Indian Education Program Director Kris Crane was a recent guest on the KGGF morning show and says all are welcome at the event.

Seating is limited so attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

The event will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and live reports will air on KUSN 98.1 FM between 10 a.m. and noon.
