GOP Gubernatorial hopeful and current Attorney General Derek Schmidt was our guest on the Mighty 690 morning show yesterday and he was very proud of his office’s consumer affairs fraud department’s performance in the 12 years he has been at the helm. Kansans through his office have recovered more judgments for more money than any other Attorney’s General Office in Kansas’s history.

However, the Montgomery County Native was more pleased with the Suicide Prevention Phone App that his office began developing back in 2017. His office then spearheaded the launch of the app that he hopes will be downloaded to every student’s phone and tablet in the state.

Understanding today’s youth, they wanted to make sure that texting would be an integral part of the app.
