The City of Independence still seeking individuals for two City Board openings. The opening on the Electrical Board will interpret the provisions of the National Electrical Code, and studies and recommends changes to the city electrical code when they are needed. The applicant must be licensed by the City as an electrician.
The Tree Board provides a community forestry plan, addressing the planting, maintenance, and removal of trees to enhance the natural beauty of the community.
