U.S. Senator Roger Marshall receives the 2022 Lee Greenwood Patriot Award during a ceremony at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City.
Senator Marshall says taking care of veterans, service members, and military families is and will continue to be a high priority for him. He says he is fighting as hard today as he did as a young 2nd lieutenant in the Army to defend the constitution and keep this country great.
The Lee Greenwood Patriot Award recognizes leaders who support America’s veterans and military. Along with Senator Marshall, Kansas City Royal’s Hall of Famer George Brett and Country Music Artist Tate Stevens were honored with Patriot Awards.
