Tax rates have been a topic of discussion at recent community meetings, and Kansas District 11 Republican Candidate Ron Bryce of Coffeyville stopped by the KGGF studios to talk about a variety of campaign issues including taxes.

Bryce says reducing the government tax burden at the state level by doing away with taxes on groceries as well as giving tax breaks for those on a fixed income will help people in southeast Kansas.

Bryce is hoping to fill Representative Jim Kelly's seat who is not seeking reelection. Bryce will face Democrat Greg Wilkinson in the general election on November 8^th.
