The 2022 Kansas Dove season is on. It runs through November 29. During the season hunters may take mourning, white-winged, Eurasian collared, and ringed turtle doves. After the season closes, you can still take Eurasian collared and ringed turtle doves.

Although the drought severely affected spring plantings KDWP’s public land managers have gone above and beyond in providing optimum habitat specifically designed to attract the fast-flying quarry.

Public lands in Elk City, Toronto, Fall River, and on the Mined Land in SE Kansas have crops of sunflowers, milo, and wheat stubble to increase your odds of having a successful dove hunt this year.
