The Parsons Police Department wins the Lexipol Connect Gold Award for the second consecutive year.

Lexipol is the provider of policy, training, and wellness support that more than 2 million first responders and public safety professionals use to help address public safety issues that include state-specific and federal policies, laws, and statutes. Training takes place mainly through an online learning platform. The Gold award is given to departments where over 80% of the staff complete daily training, and stay up to date on all new policy content that is added.

Lieutenant Jason Ludwig with the PPD says that there are constant changes in case laws as well as changes in state and federal statutes and this training ensures that officers have the knowledge to help their decision-making abilities on the street.

Only the top 10% of agencies nationwide qualify for this award.
