All Kansas 7th graders are encouraged to enter the League of Kansas Municipalities essay contest. The theme of the essay is: “Let everyone know what makes your city your ‘home’.” The overall winner for the state of Kansas will win $250. Other winning essays will win cash prizes as well and they will be published in the Kansas Government Journal. You can view the details by clicking here.
