Coffeyville Woman Arrested for Warrant/New Drug Charges

Earlier this week, Deputies stopped a 2001 Yukon, at 14th and Walnut in Independence, that displayed a tag that belonged to a different vehicle. The driver was identified as Jade T.M Ramirez-Gonzalez of Coffeyville. Deputies were made aware that Ramirez-Gonzalez was wanted by the U.S. Marshalls office, involving a narcotics case. Upon a search of the vehicle, deputies allegedly found marijuana.

Ramirez-Gonzalez was transported to the Montgomery County Department Of Corrections for the warrant, where it was discovered she had allegedly brought methamphetamine into the DOC. Ramirez-Gonzalez was booked into the DOC with no vehicle registration, no liability insurance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and trafficking contraband into a correction facility. The Mg Co Attorney’s office will review the case and bring formal charges.
