Over 20 artists from Southeast Kansas, Wichita, Bixby, and Tulsa, have entered into the September 2022 Independence Historical Museum & Art Center Open Gallery Show & Sell Exhibit. It is open to the public. Entrants and winners are from various art exhibits including the Verdigris Valley, the Neosho County, and the Bartlesville Art Exhibits. The Show and Sale Exhibitors will be offering something for everyone with various mediums and a wide range of subject matter. Unmatted and unframed works, as well as finished artwork, will be sold to help artists with rising costs.

Artwork will be on display and for sale to the public from September 1 through September 24^th. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, located at 123 N. 8^th St. in Independence.
