A rural Independence man is charged with multiple counts of felony sex crimes against a juvenile.

Brian Michial Murray was charged with 10 counts of alleged aggravated criminal sodomy involving a teenage victim between the ages of 14 and 16 during a span from July 1^st thru July 20^th. He was also charged with 10 counts of alleged aggravated indecent liberties with the same victim between October 1st, 2021, and July 20, 2022. The Montgomery County Attorney’s Office also charged Murray with 3 counts of breach of privacy, he allegedly used a hidden camera to film two victims in a state of undress.

Murray is scheduled for his first court appearance on August 9^th.
