A Chronic Wasting Disease Panel Discussion Is Part of KDWP's Upcoming Commission Meeting

 

A panel discussion on Chronic Wasting Disease will be part of the two public meetings on Thursday, August 4, and Friday, August 5 with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Commission Meeting. The public can attend in person at the Dillon Nature Center in Hutchinson or virtually via Zoom or watch live a video/stream.

The Chronic Wasting Disease discussion will start from 9 am to 11 am on the 4th. The commissioners will also discuss several items including Turkey regulations, commercial harvest of mussels, special length and creel limits; possession requirements; hook requirements; commercial bait permit exemptions, and trout water updates. They will also review recent changes to KDWP's pronghorn application and lottery procedures.
