The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners will meet on the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence on August 1st at 9 am. There is a light agenda for the meeting. Rick Whitson, Emergency Management Director will meet with the board about getting bids on floors for the Judicial Center and Jim Wright will go over projects in the Public Works department with the commissioners. Becky Lewis, Human Resources Director will meet with the board about the insurance brokers the county has been talking to about possibly changing the county's insurance.
