Summer canning season is underway, and K-State Research and Extension want to make sure you are following some simple safety precautions as you can foods at home. Holly Miner, extension agent for nutrition, food safety and health for the Wildcat Extension District will offer classes on water bath and pressure canning. Classes will be held in Fredonia, Altamont and Girard.
