It's County Fair Season, and this year the K-State Research and Extension, Wildcat District will present informational talks concerning “edible landscaping” at each of the area county fairs. Extension agent Jesse Gilmore told KGGF News that “edible landscaping” combines traditional landscaping with fruit trees and other fruit-producing plants.
Gilmore will give the presentation July 21, 2 p.m. at the Labette County Fair; July 22, 3 p.m. At the Wilson County Fair; July 29, 3 p.m at the Montgomery County Fair, and Aug. 3 at 1:30 p.m at the Crawford County Fair.
