Early Voting Begins For Montgomery County

Early voting has begun in Montgomery County.  All you need to do is show up at the County Clerks' office and ask for the ballot, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm until August 1st at noon. You do not need a reason to request an early voting ballot. You will need to show a valid photo id. If you do not have a valid id then you will be given a provisional ballot.

If you would like to request your vote by mail then you would need to fill out the form found online and mail it to your county’s early voting site. You do not need an excuse to request a mailed ballot in Kansas. You can mail back the ballot, drop it off at your county election office or drop it in the secure ballot drop box in your county. The ballot drop box for Montgomery County is out front of the Judicial Center in Independence.
