Creating your very own guitar sounds like a daunting task, but the folks at Independence Community College’s Fab Lab will show you how. The start-to-finish course has options including electric 6-string, 4-string bass, and 6-string acoustic.
The class is scheduled for Tuesdays, August 16th thru December 6th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at 2564 Brookside Drive, on the campus of ICC.
The instructor Steve Reid will teach you basic woodworking and wood finishing techniques; tutorials on how electric guitars work; how guitar components are made; and instruction on guitar assembly and intonation.
