Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act of 2022 Waiting For the President's Signature

A Bill passes the House of Representatives that will help ensure all veterans exposed to burn pits and suffering from toxic exposure injuries receive the benefits they deserve from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran co-sponsored the bill named Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act of 2022.

It will expand VA health care eligibility to Post-9/11 combat veterans and therefore it will include more than 3.5 million toxic-exposed veterans. It will also strengthen federal research on toxic exposure as well as create a framework for the establishment of future presumptions of service connection related to toxic exposure and expands presumptions related to Agent Orange exposure.

The bill will now go to President Joe Biden’s desk for signing.
