Additions and Improvements are coming to Montgomery County with upgrades and expansion to the railroad and the groundbreaking of a soybean crushing facility. U.S. Senator Jerry Moran, who was at both events recently, says it is great to see Southeast Kansas getting job creation and economic growth.

Moran says the addition of the soybean facility and the improvements coming to the railroad go hand in hand. Bartlett says the upgrades and expansion to the railroad are necessary for their project. The funding for the railroad project is in part coming from a grant that Senator Moran wrote a letter in support of getting.
