Four are arrested on multiple drug charges in Baxter Springs.

After a multiple-month-long investigation, Baxter Springs Police Officers and Cherokee County Sheriff Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in Baxter Springs. The search warrant was for the possession and possible distribution of illegal drugs. During the search methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, multiple loaded firearms and multiple boxes of ammunition were located.

Arrested at the residence were 60-year-old Timothy Putnam for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a firearm. 55-year-old Andrew Putnam was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a firearm. 40-year-old Michelle Hughey and 24-year-old Nason Putnam were both arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
