The Montgomery County commissioners met this morning and heard from several department heads in regards to their budget and salaries for 2023. They met with Carolyn Muller with the County Health Department about moving a vehicle from her department to the appraiser's office. No action was taken. Jim Wright with Public Works reported that they received a bid for paint striping and recommended the low bidder Straight Line Striping of Grand Island, NE and the Board voted unanimously in favor of giving Straight Line the bid. The Board also moved to change the handbook to reflect the changes to the amount paid for mileage to county employees.
