Newly increased IRS gas mileage allowances are being discussed by Montgomery County Commissioners. At Monday’s meeting commissioners discussed how the County would compensate in light of the increase. No action was taken. However, the discussion was tabled until next week.

Commissioners also discussed a Tundra pick-up truck that was purchased with COVID-19 funds by the Health Department and moving it to the Appraisers Office to replace a vehicle used mainly on gravel roads that is in need of repair or replacement. Research needs to be done to see if this is possible and what would need to be done to make that happen. Therefore no action was taken but it was decided it would be brought back up in next week’s meeting with respect to the findings of the research.
