The search continues for a suspect wanted on charges of attempted murder after a hit-and-run in Independence last week. 39-year-old Brian Medsker remains at large after allegedly hitting a cyclist causing serious injuries. Witnesses told Independence Police that the incident had the appearance of being an intentional act and not an accident. Earlier this week, IPD got a report that Medsker was to be found at a house on the 500 block of West Myrtle, but Medsker was apparently able to elude capture, leaving a gun and other evidence at that scene. Independence Police Chief Jerry Harrison told KGGF that the investigation continues.
