Heavy rains across the area are expected to produce some minor flooding across parts of the area.  3 – 4 inches of rain has been reported in the area and more rain and thunderstorms are expected again tomorrow morning.  The National Weather Service says minor flooding is expected to continue, especially along the Neosho River near Parsons and Oswego.  The Verdigris River near Coffeyville and Independence is expected to stay below flood stage.
