Governor Laura Kelly has signed bipartisan House Bill 2136, which will invest $50 million to help small businesses recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Senator Tom Holland says small businesses are what power the economy. This legislation builds on years of work to ensure they have the resources to continue serving customers and creating jobs.

Governor Kelly was joined at the bill signing by the Kansas Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Vice President Eric Stafford says House Bill 2136 is a product of the many people who have shown commitment to Kansas small businesses.
