Independence Community College announces a new Interim Athletic Director.

Melissa Anderson will take over the position after the resignation of the previous director, Eric Figurski. ICC President Dr. Vincent Bowhay says they are excited to have Coach Anderson directing the future of their athletic programs. He says she is a passionate leader who is committed to the success of the students inside and outside of the classroom.

Anderson joined ICC in 2021 as the head volleyball coach. Anderson says she is grateful and thankful for this opportunity and her goal is to continue to build positive relationships and help serve the students and community.
