The Third Annual Independence BBQ Cook-off is this weekend. Organizer Brett Trotter says this year they are supporting an 8-year-old boy who is battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Trotter says the cook-off is this Saturday at Newton's True Value with People's Choice starting at 12:30pm.  Trotter says this year they have added a cornhole tournament to the event.
