Warmer Temperatures and Potential Storms Starting Tomorrow

A brief spurt of warmer temperatures are expected to move into southeast Kansas starting today and Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, temperatures in Coffeyville are expected to reach the upper-70s by Tuesday. This will be the peak for the week, as temperatures will then drop back down to the mid-50s by this Thursday.

Additionally, there is a slight chance for thunderstorms to move through the area starting Tuesday evening. The strongest activity could bring quarter-size hail and 60mph winds.
