Multiple Felony Charges Filed After Foot Chase

A 36-year old man has been arrested on an array of charges after leading Parsons police on a foot chase.

Parsons officers were notified of an anonymous tip about Jason Anderson-Moseley being on his way to a residence in the 900 block of South 16th Street. Anderson-Moseley was wanted on multiple warrants out of Labette County, Allen County, and the City of Parsons.

Officers located the residence and watched for the vehicle that was described Anderson-Moseley would be in. When Anderson-Moseley arrived at the residence and spotted the officers, he fled on foot. Officers were able to catch up to Anderson-Moseley and he was taken into custody. A search of Anderson-Moseley and the vehicle that he was driving revealed multiple narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Anderson-Moseley was arrested on suspicion of two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Sales and Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Interference with a Law Enforcement Officer, and a Parsons Municipal Warrant for Failure to Appear.
