The City of Coffeyville and the Coffeyville Fire Department are asking residents to register their storm shelters through the city website.

Registration includes informing the city of the homeowner's name, address, type of shelter, and GPS coordinates if possible. Information is then stored inside of a database maintained by the fire department.

If a disaster occurs, residents could be trapped inside of their shelter due to debris. If that occurs, the city uses this database to assist in locating residents. To register your shelter, follow this link.
