The friends of Riverside Park and Zoo in Independence have announced that the opening day for Riverside Park will take place on Saturday, April 9 from 11 am-3 pm.
The theme this year is “ There's No Place Like Riverside Park and Zoo”. There will be plenty of activities for the kids including Free Carousel Rides, Petting Zoo, and Train Rides. Food Vendors will be onsite as well.
Riverside Park is located at 400 Mickey Mantle Way in Independence.
