Independence Community College is welcoming representatives from two local businesses to speak with students. John Deere and Cobalt Boats will both speak about various components of the professional world.
John Deere will be on campus on March 30th from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and Cobalt Boats will be on campus on April 7th, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Students will be learning about resumes, cover letters, professional dress, internships, and job opportunities within their respective companies.
Academic Success Center Coordinator Courtlynn Rose says both companies have been great industry leaders in Southeast Kansas for many years and have locations nationwide.
