One man was found dead after a shooting in Pittsburg over the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, Pittsburg police received a call regarding a shooting at 111 W. Park Street. When officers arrived, they located 64-year-old Harold L. Sheets of Pittsburg. Sheets was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound.

61-year-old Verla L. Gilliand, also of Pittsburg, was questioned about the incident. After interviewing Gilliand, Officers placed her under arrest and transferred her to the Crawford County Jail, where she awaits charges for 2nd-degree murder.

Gilliand is being held on a $150,000 bond.
