Fab Lab ICC is offering a new 10-week program geared toward small business owners and entrepreneurs in rural communities, which will start March 30th.
The SEED Initiative will take participants through the fundamentals of managing and operating a successful rural business by focusing on eight key topics. Those topics include management, marketing and branding, sales, finance and accounting, human resources, legal fundamentals, technology and strategy.
Fab Lab Director Jim Correll says small business management training has been part of his vision for the last 16 years and this new streamlined course has been a long time coming. The classes will be on Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Class size is limited to 15 participants and the cost is $400. Register at www.seed-initiative.com.
