Independence Community College is hosting a free resume writing workshop. The workshop is on Thursday, March 24th, from 12:30pm to 2:00pm in Room 132 of the Academic Building. Lunch will be provided.
Program Coordinator for Veteran Student Success India Bennett says this will help students with any level of work experience create a resume that will stand out to employers or transfer universities. She says they can show you how to highlight your extracurricular activities and coursework to show off what you have learned both on and off-campus.
Students will learn tips for a great resume, what employers look for and what not to do during the process. Staff will be available to review an existing resume.
