Senate Bill 282 has been passed in the Kansas Senate on a 33 to 4 vote. SB282 provides tax credits for aerospace and aviation program graduates and their employers. Senator Virgil Peck says there are amendments added to the Bill to provide other provisions.

Senator Peck says he believes it is important to try and reduce property taxes in the state because that is the biggest complaint legislatures hear. He says this is a real opportunity to that if he passes the Kansas House.
