Southeast Kansas residents should expect another round of snow heading into Friday as a system makes its way through the area.

Two waves of winter weather are expected, the first coming through central Kansas from Thursday morning to the midday. Southeast Kansas will experience the second wave, which it predicted to hit Thursday evening and continue on through the overnnight hours. The National Weather Service in Wichita is calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow.
