Caney PD Recieve Trauma Packs and FLIR Gun

The Caney Police Department has announced that they have received six trauma packs and a FLIR Scout TK monocular. The items were donated to the department by the United States Deputy Sheriff's Association.

Trauma kits contain essential supplies for treating life-threatening traumatic injuries, such as gunshot and stab wounds, in a field environment until certified medical assistance reaches the scene. Trauma packs generally include gloves, a tourniquet pressure bandage, and a hemostatic dressing.

The FLIR Scout TK is a pocket-sized thermal vision monocular for exploring the outdoors - at night and in lowlight conditions.

Caney Assistant Chief of Police Ike Dye said that these items will help the department fight the war on drugs in Caney and that they appreciate the resources they received from the USDSA.
