Multiple local law enforcement agencies show their support for the Joplin Police Department. Two Joplin officers are in critical condition and one is dead after a shooting broke out yesterday afternoon.

The Independence, Coffeyville, Parsons and several other local police departments shared their condolences on Facebook as well as the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves says he is saddened for the family and friends, whose lives will never be the same and for other law enforcement officers, including those who arrived on scene to find their co-workers fighting for their lives.
