Motorists traveling on U.S. 400 in Montgomery County should give themselves extra time as the Kansas Department of Transportation has started a full-depth concrete patching project on U.S. 400 in Montgomery County.

Crews are replacing concrete on the four-lane section at the south junction with U.S. 75. U.S. 400 traffic will be restricted to one lane with a speed limit of 50 miles an hour at the work zones. Weather permitting, the road work should be finished by the end of the month.

KDOT reminds drivers to obey the signs and drive carefully.
