Traffic Enforcement Leads to Drug Arrest

 

An arrest is made during a joint narcotics traffic enforcement between the Montgomery County Sheriff's, Neodesha Police Department and the KBI. The enforcement was along the Montgomery and Wilson County line on Highway 400 and Highway 75.

 

At around 11:35pm Friday night, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2010 Toyota Camry. During the stop, Police Service Dog Hector was used and hit on the vehicle indicating the odor of illegal narcotics. Deputies searched the vehicle and located crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The driver, David Arnold of Neodesha, was taken into custody.

 

In all during the traffic enforcement, deputies and officers seized over 5 ounces of marijuana along with other THC products, drug paraphernalia and crystal methamphetamine.
