Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has vetoed the redistricting map that was presented by the Kansas House and Senate. Representative Doug Blex says there were a number of complaints about groups and areas that were separated by the map.

Blex says they will need 27 votes in the senate and 84 votes in the house to override Governor Kelly's veto. The goal for redistricting is to have 734,470 per district.
