The KBI is searching for Dawson J. Mitchell in regards to two homicides in Fort Scott.

Fort Scott PD responded to a 911 call at 402 Main St, upon arrival they located, 48-year-old Melissa Mitchell who had died from a gunshot wound. Further investigation of the house lead to the discovery of 53-year-old, Leonard Zimmerman, who had also been shot and was deceased. The victims' son, 23-year-old, Dawson Mitchell of Fort Scott, is wanted for questioning in regards to the murders.
