The “Taking Down DUI” traffic enforcement campaign starts next week.

Parsons PD along with many other law enforcement agencies across the state, including the Kansas Highway Patrol. The goal of the enforcement campaign is to limit the number of crashes caused by being under the influence of drugs/and or alcohol. The New Year's holiday period is known for seeing the most amount of crashes caused by drivers being under the influence.

If you've had anything to drink, do not drive, don't get behind the wheel. Call a cab, call a friend, use ride-share, make sure that you do not drive while under the influence of alcohol. DUI's are completely preventable, do your part and make sure to have a sober ride home lined up to ensure you arrive home safely.
