The Heritage Foundation released its nationwide Election Integrity Scorecard on Tuesday, ranking Kansas in the Top ten. The scorecard provides a breakdown of each state's election laws and regulations and associates a score based on those merits.
Secretary of state Scott Schwab says Kansas has been leading the nation with forward-thinking election security laws for years. In fact, topics that are highly debated now, like voter ID and signature verification for mail ballots, have been in Kansas law for almost a decade.
