KDOT Veteran, Mike Bright, is retiring after 28 years of service to the agency.

Bright began his career in 1993 at the Iola construction office. In 2002 he was promoted to the position of District Four Office Coordinator at the KDOT district office in Chanute, where he managed project documentation and all-district highway permits. Brights plans for retirement include motorcycle rides, camping, and travel.
