Two people have been taken into custody for numerous drug offenses.

Earlier this week, officers from multiple law enforcement agencies served a narcotics search warrant on the residence of Levi Hart located at 1020 North 11th Street in Independence. Hart along with Danyale Alaback were taken into custody when officers arrived at the residence. Officers located on Hart’s person a set of brass knuckles.

During the search of the residence, Officers located Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, LSD, and what is believed to be ecstasy/molly. Hart and Alaback were booked into DOC for distribution of methamphetamine within 1000ft of a school, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hart received an additional charge of criminal carrying of weapons.

The case has been turned over to the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office with the above-suggested charges for review.
