Two Facing Felony Drug Charges After Search Warrant Executed

 

A Missouri man and woman are facing felony drug charges after Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies investigated suspicious activity north of Riverton Wednesday evening.

 

As a result of information obtained during the investigation, a search warrant on the property located at 4710 Southeast Highway 69A was executed and suspected methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia was located and seized.

 

47-year-old Scott Carter, of Neosho, Missouri and 32-year-old Tiawana Kaufman, of Joplin, Missouri, were both taken into custody and transported to the Cherokee County Jail where they are being held on allegations of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia.
